Journey II uni

JOURNEY UNI’s little removal of bone and ligaments gives patients satisfaction.

The JOURNEY UNI knee system has been designed to give patients a fresh right to an active lifestyle and to close the gap between patient satisfaction and implant longevity through function, motion, and durability.

Femoral component

Asymmetric

  •  The implant maintains a 10° A/P angle to approximate the anatomical form of the distal condyle.

Anatomical

  • The implant is available in seven sizes to allow for patient-specific fitting.

Three planar resections and two peg holes create a consistent, congruent cement interface.

Versatility Sizes 1, 2, and 3 are interchangeable, with slightly different cuts and peg placements than sizes 3–7. Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 all have the exact same planar resections and peg hole locations.

Asymmetric

  • The right medial component can be utilized on the left lateral tibia, while the left medial component can be used on the right lateral tibia.

Flexibility

  • The all-poly version and the metal-backed version have the same instrumentation, providing for easy intraoperative choice.

Unconstrained kinematics

  • Unconstrained kinematics can be achieved by connecting a curved femoral component on a flat articular surface.
