The System Overview
We have developed continuously since the beginning of GENESIS.
- Improved tracking and patellar contact result from a deeper, more lateralized trochlear groove.
Anatomically-shaped tibial baseplates have an improved fin design and significantly improve coverage of the tibia as compared to symmetrical designs. An externally rotated femoral implant design optimizes femorotibial rotational alignment and decreases the likelihood of notching the lateral anterior cortex. - Thoughtful versatility decreases the amount of implant components while greatly expanding your therapeutic options.
- Versatile, simple instrumentation, comprehensive in function and fewer in number, shortens the surgical time, facilitates intraoperative care, and offers a more exact fit.
- All articular surfaces, including the proximal tibia, have been polished to increase contact area and decrease contact stress. All polyethylene is sterilized using a non-degrading method.
- Specialized cruciate retaining, posterior stabilized, and revision systems have been created to address the specific requirements of each clinical and financial circumstance.
