Redapt Acetabular

Utilizing CONCELOC technology, the REDAPT acetabular cup is produced.

  • In revision situations, when weakened bone makes implant attachment and stability more challenging.
  • Allows ingrowth a fully porous implant created using a 3D additive manufacturing technology, is intended to resemble the structure of cancellous bone.
  • Combines a completely porous titanium structure (CONCELOC Advanced Porous Titanium) with innovative variable-angle locking screws, to improve implant stability and reduce micromotion following surgery.

Without sacrificing stability

Three different types of acetabular augments and two different types of revision shells are included in the REDAPT Revision Acetabular System.

Revision situations where damaged bone makes implant attachment and stability more challenging are where the Revision Shells are designed for usage. Compared to the REDAPT Modular Shell, which is designed for directly anchored liners, the REDAPT Fully Porous Shell can handle cemented liners. Furthermore, REDAPT Acetabular Augments can be used to fill bone gaps, that may not be able to be filled entirely by inserting an acetabular shell. A high hip center might result from wearing a cup alone, therefore augmentations, help restore the hip’s natural center.

A fully porous implant, designed to replicate the structure of cancellous bone, is created using an additive manufacturing approach to permit ingrowth. 16 additionally, locking screws with different angles may be utilized. REDAPT Variable Angle Locking Screws have shown increased stiffness in comparison to ordinary screws, which can boost the construct’s initial stability.

Stability

Screws have long been utilized as an additional fixing technique. Any of the available screw holes on the REDAPT Acetabular System can be used for spherical head screws or REDAPT Variable Angle Locking Screws. • The CONCELOC Advanced Porous Titanium’s high friction surface is intended to help achieve the initial stability required to hold the implant in place after insertion.

Adaptability

  • Shell: Depending on cup size, the screw hole design has been optimized, and peripheral locking options are available in the pubis and ischium.
  • Dual mobility option is accessible for difficult primary and revision THA cases. Cemented and snap-in liners are also available.
  • Additions: Three designs are provided to solve different flaws (Staple, Slice and Blade)

Reproducibility

  • Threaded Apex Hole: Compatible with common shell impactor instrumentation, this hole was created to make procedure simpler.
  • Threaded Apex Hole: Designed for use with a variety of screw-in trial liners to ensure consistent joint stability measurement. Note that this only applies to the Fully Porous Cup. Cement ports make it easier to attach augments to the acetabular shell and let you place the implants before cementing the construction together.
