Different tissue effects are produced by our Controller System’s operation in the coagulation
Ablation mode: Using the formation and intensity of plasma, the Wand’s performance changes from a thermal effect to an ablative effect when the Controller setting rises from 1 to 9. The plasma field gets bigger while the power gets smaller when the Controller setting goes up.
Coagulation mode: For hemostasis, all of our COBLATION Wands are capable of using the coagulation mode. The current flows through the tissue when the Controller System is operated at lower levels, where a minimum generation of plasma is produced.
