Performance, effectiveness and value are added to an all-in-one visualization solution, by the LENS Surgical Imaging System. The LENS System can possibly save capital investment, while maintaining flexibility for future updates, by merging three items into one system: a console, camera head and iPad® Application.

The LENS Application is indicated for still and motion image capture, patient file management and limited repetitive control of the LENS camera control unit within articular cavities, body cavities, hollow organs, canals and the thoracic cavity, when used in conjunction with the LENS Integrated System Wi-Fi version.

Components

CONSOLE SYSTEM

As new camera options and software upgrades can become available, the console, which is scalable, can change to meet the demands of the facility.

Features of the console include: the Camera Control Unit (CCU), LED lighting, and the Image Management System.

CAMERA HEAD

The LENS Camera Head, which utilizes the most recent advancements in high-definition complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) sensor technology, has a number of special capabilities and may be used with either a direct view scope and coupler or a video arthroscope.

Significant depth of field, a three-button interface with six functions, and 1080p broadcast grade image technology is just a few of the features of the camera head. The buttons on the camera head may also be programmed using the LENS Application or the Console Menu functionality.
